Veteran animal rights campaigner Joan Court is to join a protest march in Cambridge – at the age of 93.
Hundreds of people are expected to take part in a demonstration in the city on Saturday, August 25, calling for the closure of the Harlan research labs, where beagles are allegedly subjected to experiments.
Mrs Court, a former midwife, will be on the march as “a special guest”, organisers say.
