Pygmy Hedgehog Craze
Pygmy Hedgehogs are the new ‘In Pet’.
The Mail says:
“Demand for the hedgehogs has spiralled in recent months after it emerged the tiny creatures, which weigh between 12 and 18 ounces, can sell for up to £200 each.”
Andrew from Portsmouth in response to the Mails article said: “Oh dear another one out to make money! Yesterday it was pygmy pigs, today pygmy hedgehogs – what next pygmy hippos!”
I wonder how long it will take for the first victims of this craze to arrive in rescue centres up and down the country?
