Phil Collins Tells Selfridges To Ditch Foie Gras

And it’s not the first time he’s been active for animals: Collins donated a pair of signed drumsticks to PETA US’ campaign against Kentucky Fried Chicken back in 2005…

Where Is My Mind?

A couple of weeks ago I was thinking about ‘The Animal Film’; the very same day I received an email from PETA about the films re-release (here’s my post). Spooky eh?

It gets spookier: Recently I was humming the unforgettable Pixies track Where Is My Mind?, only to find PETA blogging about frontman Charles Thompson a.k.a. Frank Black:

‘Ever since we heard the Pixies song, Monkey Gone to Heaven, we thought Frank Black might have a soft spot for animal and environmental issues, and we were right! He recently signed PETA US’ petition against fast-food giant KFC because he wants to help end the suffering of chickens at the hands of KFC’s suppliers.’
