Misty the black and white cat has been reunited with her owner after being locked in a shed for over a month. The cat went missing on 24th August, but was only found last week in a shed close to where her owner lives in Peebles. It is thought the cat survived by licking condensation off windows.

Advisory bodies on animal experimentation The Animal Procedures Committee and the Lab Animals Science Association say that the suffering of each animal experimented on should be recorded by scientists. At the moment only a general estimation on suffering is needed. The news has been welcomed by the RSPCA.
