Plan To Halt Non-Native Species

Grey squirrels and other alien invaders are to be targeted in a new action plan to protect Scotland’s native plants and animals.

The strategy sets out how to stop foreign species from threatening the native environment, and looks at ways of preventing future overseas intrusions…

The Non-Native Species Strategy for Britain was launched by the Scottish Government, the UK Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, and the Welsh Assembly Government.
